Alberta Caregiver College provides courses and educational materials for family caregivers. It features the “Support for Caregivers of Older Adults” program, which provides training for those caring for the frail or chronically ill. The Canadian Caregiver Coalition is a bilingual (English and French), not-for-profit organization made up of caregivers, caregiver support groups, national stakeholder organizations and researchers. The Family Caregivers Network Society is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to inform, support and educate on issues of concern to family caregivers. Carers UK is a caregivers’ advocacy and educational organization serving the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland).  It provides extensive information for caregivers through its website and toll free (in the UK) CarersLine.  Carers UK offers caregiver support material in a range of languages.

The Princess Royal Trust for Carers provides comprehensive support services through the United Kingdom, with 144 independently managed Carers’ Centres and 85 young carers’ services. The Trust provides information, advice and support services for caregivers. The website features discussion boards and a caregiver support page organized by topic, such as “respite care”, “Taking care of yourself,” and “Money and Benefits.” The Trust also offer a special website focused on young caregivers at http://www.youngcarers.net.
